By registering to participate in the project entitled “BMF CP24: Family encouragement, information exchange, and awareness of cultural diversity, global interdependence, and peace among students” on the SM3D Portal, I hereby declare that I have fully understood, endorsed, and committed to upholding the philosophy, principles, and moral values of the SM3D research community [1].
I recognize that the SM3D Portal is not merely a platform for project coordination but a knowledge ecosystem grounded in intellectual discipline, ethical rigor, and collective responsibility. By joining this project, I commit to maintaining strict self-discipline in fulfilling all assigned tasks within the agreed timelines.
In line with the Bayesian Mindsponge Framework (BMF) analytics philosophy [2], I will ensure that empirical modeling, conceptual reasoning, and interpretation are internally consistent and theoretically defensible. At the same time, I remain open to methodological, conceptual, or analytical innovations when they are demonstrably necessary to improve the quality, robustness, and explanatory power of the study.
I also affirm my adherence to a culture of openness and transparency with respect to data, code, analytical procedures, and early-stage research results, insofar as ethical, legal, and project-specific constraints allow. I understand that such openness is essential for safeguarding research integrity, facilitating collective learning, and enabling reproducibility and critical scrutiny—especially in interdisciplinary and policy-relevant research on climate change and human vulnerability.
Moreover, I commit to treating all project members with respect, humility, and collegiality, recognizing the diversity of expertise, perspectives, and constraints within the research team. Within the limits of my capacity and expertise, I pledge to actively contribute to the long-term development of the SM3D community, not only through this project but also by fostering knowledge sharing, methodological rigor, and ethical awareness among fellow members.
This declaration reflects my sincere commitment to responsible scholarship, collaborative integrity, and the shared mission of advancing robust, meaningful, and ethically grounded research.
