bayesvl downloads reached a new high in Oct ‘25

CRAN download statistics show that our bayesvl R package was downloaded 873 times in October 2025, as shown in Fig. 2, the highest number since its first approval and release on CRAN in late May 2019, then version 0.8.5 [1].

The previous record of its monthly downloads is back in the COVID-19 lockdown time in November 2021 (i.e., 4 years ago).

The MCMC computing software was upgraded to bayesvl version 1.0.0 on May 18, 2025, exactly 6 years after its official publication on CRAN [2].

Over the past 7 years, the software (together with the BMF methodology book [3]) has enabled more than 160 researchers from 22 countries to complete 90 peer-reviewed publications and 40 unpublished manuscripts.
